Leggings, What Not To Do

Leggings have become a girls best friend.  They  are simple, affordable and stylish.  What is not to love?!  Check out my tips on what not to do with your favorite pair of leggings (Trust me..HE is thinking the same thing about them);

1.)  Don’t Make Leggings Your Daily Uniform

Please remember that leggings have not replaced jeans and pants.  Do not wear them every day.  The girls and guys at the office will notice your daily legging fashion faux pa so ease off on how often you wear them.  Twice a week is OK but 4-5 times a week is just flat out lazy.

2.)  Replace Them If Needed

There is nothing more disturbing than black leggings that start to become so shear that they look almost see through.  If your leggings are on their last leg, make sure you toss them ASAP.  There is no such thing as a vintage-looking legging.

3.)  Easy On The Print

Make sure that your leggings don’t take up too much attention.  They should not be the focal point of your outfit.  Too much print and bold colors can make you look like an aerobics instructor gone wrong.

4.)  Wear The Right Shoes

Since you are taking the easy road in the pants department, make sure you spice up your leggings with some cute shoes.  They don’t need to have a huge heel or cost a fortune, but make sure they are not as plain as the leggings you are wearing.  It is all about balance.

5.)  Wear The Right Top

You don’t want to wear too short of a top with your leggings that your coochie shows.  Wear a top that will cover most of your bum and that hangs nicely.  Nobody wants to see your camel toe.

6.)  They Are Not Spandex

Remember that leggings are not spandex so avoid shiny leggings!
