Coachella 101

Coachella-Valley-Music-Arts-Festival

Everything about Coachella is hot and I am not just talking about the California desert, throw in some short shorts, kick ass music, young Hollywood hipsters, a whole lot of skin and you got yourself a weekend of festival fun. For all of my readers from lands far far away, here is a simple breakdown of what exactly is Coachella:

What the heck is it?

Coachella is basically a festival of all types of music that occurs in April of the Spring season. It was founded in 1999 and brings an estimated 100,000 people each year. The event features many genres of music including alternative rock, hip hop, and electronic music.

Where Is The Coachella Music Festival Held?

Coachella always sets up its site at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., in the Inland Empire’s Coachella Valley

When Is Coachella 2013?

Coachella takes place over two weekends, from April 12 to 14, and from April 19 to 21.

Weather?

HOT, expect 90+ degree temps – so make sure you pack lots of sunscreen, water and play it safe.

What to wear?

Coachella brings out some fierce looking outfits that would give Woodstock a run for its money. Would it be alright to say to wear as little as possible? Well, that would appear to be a definite, yes. From flower crowns, fringe, bra tops, head bands, wedges and the shortest shorts you can find, you dress for the hot weather and for the flirty earthy festival vibe.

Check out what some of your favorite celebrities are wearing? Kristin Stewart, Alessandra Ambrosio, Katy Perry, Diane Kruger, Carmen Electra, Kelly Rowland, Julianne Hough, Vanessa Hudgens and more, theses stars brought out some interesting fashion fun!
