What can I say, if George Clooney is rocking the polka dot look as I did a couple months ago for my E! photo shoot than you know I did something right!

Fads fade but vintage trends like polka dots never go out of fashion. Flirty, retro and whimsical, these dotted delights bring a style befitting every age. America’s love affair with the polka dot began, perhaps, in 1926, when Miss America was photographed in a polka dot swimsuit. Shortly after, in 1928, Disney introduced its cartoon darling Minnie Mouse wearing a red polka dot dress and matching bow. In 1940, the woozy melody of Frank Sinatra’s ballad “Polka Dots and Moonbeams” captured the height of America’s polka dot mania—that spring, the Los Angeles Times assured its readers, “You can sign your fashion life away on the polka-dotted line, and you’ll never regret it.”

polka-dot-11Yep, polka dots are here to stay and remains an incredibly timeless option for women and MEN around the world! Big, medium or small-sized, polka dots suit everyone so think out of the box and connect your fashion dots!

rs_634x811-131202091016-634-george-clooney-w-magazine.ls.12213I love how Mr. Geroge Clooney owns his sexy masculinity on the latest Art Issue of W Magazine. The cover features the debonnaire silver fox clad in a black Giorgio Armani suit and bow tie that has been hand-painted with white spots, along with a white shirt covered with black spots, as he poses in front of a matching spotted background. Flawless!
