I am finally back from my super memorable trip to Norway! Talk about an overseas adventure!!

As I start to get settled back here in Los Angeles, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite things this month that I am dying over at the moment. Sit back, relax, put your laptop in it’s upright position and enjoy the ride.

1.) Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker

I can’t say enough good things about this product. It has given my taste buds a sugar orgasm over and over again. Now you can enjoy the finest homemade frozen treats – at home by creating your own creamy delight in 20 minutes or less (Yes, that is me sounding like an info commercial!!). My cousin Nicholas and his wife Jessica talked about their ice cream maker constantly and how much fun it was for them to make their own late night treat together. Think of all the crazy ingredients you can use! When my bestie Michelle invited my boyfriend and I over for a “sleepover” we were beyond excited to see that she was whipping up a peanut butter, Reeses pieces ice cream explosion. You all need to buy one of these mini machines! Check out some of my pics from the ice cream sleepover. That glob of mush is actually the best dessert I’ve had in a long time.

2.) Vita Liberata  Self-Tanner

If you have not figured out by all my selfies on Instagram (@MattJacobi by the way), I am pretty much self-tan obsessed. BRONZE ME UP – is what I say! This luxury self-tan product is my ultimate FAVORITE! Coming straight out of Northern Ireland, Vita Liberata launched the world’s first odorless tan in 2007, and reformulated an entire range of products since that are completely non-toxic and 80% organic. You can check out this streak free tanner at Sephora.com!

3.) Blue Jasmine

While I was traveling across the Atlantic, British Airways kept me busy with their wide range of new releases! One of my top faves that I suggest you all watch is this Woody Allen directed movie called, Blue Jasmine with the super-duper talented Cate Blanchett. Her role as a rich Manhattan socialite that falls into poverty and homelessness is one of the best performances of the year. Bravo Cate! You have my vote to win the Oscar this year!!

4.) Micro-Needling Facial Treatment

All you skincare lovers are going to L-O-V-E this new treatment I had the most luxurious pleasure of trying out at Beth’s Beauty in Oslo, Norway last week. Medical micro-needling of the skin also, referred to as collagen induction therapy, turned my skin into a fresh-tight-plumped surface! This relatively new concept is aimed to stimulate the body’s own collagen and elastin production to tighten, lift and rejuvenate the skin, as well as reduce the appearance of  wrinkles and minimize pores. I give this treatment an A+ because after a couple days, I saw instant results. I’m so hooked on micro-needling! Here is a quick video to kinda show you the basics of how it all works.

5.) Blue Bottle Coffee Co.

I cannot start  my day without a warm (and caffeinated!!) cup of coffee. I love waking up to the smell of coffee brewing and drinking the first sip as I check my morning emails. When Criss and Emily (my longtime best buds) brought me back Blue Bottle Coffee from San Francisco I about lost it. This famous coffee company uses the best certified organic coffees, that are farmed traditionally without pesticides and are never pre-blended assuring the ideal roast. You can order their beans online or stop by one of their locations in the Bay area of New York City.

I can’t live without my comfy sweatshirts from Obey Clothing. They came in perfectly for those cold Oslo mornings and winter nights. You will probably see me running around LA in one too! I found that Obey makes their sweatshirts not too heavy and bulky so you can wear them out without looking like a lazy bum. Go online and take a peak at their new stuff, I am diggin their hoodies and hats!

Ok, ready for this – I really don’t know a lot about wine but whatever amazingness is in this Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is nothing but heavenly!! This buttery richness wine is highlighted with flavors of apple, pear and lemon which is so beyond refreshing after a long work week. Head on over to your local Whole Foods and treat yourself to some fabulous wine.
