A New York Kind Of Day
This morning was full of surprises as I left “The City of Brotherly Love” and made my way to “The Big Apple!”
I woke up smiling just thinking about the yummy dinner I had the night before with my little sister at Fat Salmon Sushi (719 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19102)….
SOO DAMN GOOD!!
With a belly full of raw fish and a handful of great memories, I was off to New York for another exciting trip! I could not wait to take the Amtrak train into the heart of Manhattan as it’s just about an hour+ ride from Philly’s beautiful 30th Street Station!
The biggest shocker of the day though was meeting Sarah Jessica Parker! She had just arrived into Philadelphia so I was grateful to get a quick picture before she took off.
I’ve been a huge fan of SJP’s for years!
While channeling my inner Carrie Bradshaw, I hopped on my train en route to the big city!
Not to sound like Mr. Fancy Pants but I highly recommend purchasing a business class seat. You get a ton of extra leg room, semi-reclining seats…
…and free WiFi!
But nothing is more magical than seeing that stunning skyline from your window as you make your way to Penn Station.
Once I stepped foot into “The City That Never Sleeps,” I could feel that dynamic energy! All the lights, colors and sounds is so thrilling!
I had made it to New York!
Can you guess where I’ll be for the rest of the night?
Until tomorrow, I leave you with this musical treat!
