The Best Pizza I Ever Had

When you are tired of making chicken, and can’t figure out what to do for dinner…..

I say – GET PIZZA!!!

tumblr_mpwvtfasEB1ry46hlo1_500The fast-food pizza chains are not your only options these days. If you are searching for a healthier pie, than look at the variety of  pizzas at your local Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s. You don’t need to fill up your belly with the standard heavy crust with extra cheese either. Look for a flatbread or wood fire pizza option for more of a lighter twist.

IMG_7729The back story on this hot spot is pretty cool. Chris Bianco grew up in the Bronx and struggled with asthma, so his aunt kept him in doors where she taught him how to cook. When Bianco got older, he moved to Phoenix, opened up the restaurant in 1987 and later changed locations in 1996 to the historic area of Heritage Square. The rest is history and his pizza pies have been a HIT ever since. From Oprah, Martha Stewart, Vogue, Rachel Ray and more, his crispy creations have been recognized by some of the greats!
