Feelin a little down in the dumps?

Listening to music is a big mood changer. Instead of just blasting your favorite tunes, get your ass off the sofa and dance around your living room. There is no better place to have your own personal disco than in the comfort (and privacy) of your own home.


Eat something spicy. Did you know that chili peppers contain a chemical called capsaicin, which contributes to making peppers spicy. When you eat enough capsaicin, your body starts producing endorphins to block the pain of the heat.


Light up some candles. Aroma therapy is like magic. Fill your home with the smells of lavender and vanilla. Studies show they are linked to the production of endorphins.


Plant something in your garden. A little sunshine, fresh air and getting your hands dirty never hurt. Connecting with nature has been known to grow a couple smiles.


Get it on! Yep, having sex with your partner will certainly do the trick in kicking up your happy thoughts.


Last but not least, surround yourself with people that bring out the best in you.
