What’s For Dinner?

Are you a fan of brussels sprouts?


They were the new gastropub menu craze a couple years ago that got many of us hooked!


Can you believe brussels sprouts use to be considered a childhood dinner table horror? 

It is almost like they had their very own PR campaign! HA!

Now, they are one of my go-to greens when I am needing a little color to my plate.

Take a look at how I incorporated them into my dinner last night!

First, I grilled these beautiful sprouts with a dash of olive oil over medium heat to get that chard texture.

IMG_4474Then, I added them to lean ground turkey and orange bell pepper I had cooking.

I love a dish with a good crunch!


IMG_4482 IMG_4481For serving, I scooped a decent amount of this mixture over mashed up cauliflower with a touch of Sriracha sauce.



It was a hit at my house and so simple to make.
