Honoring MLK

gty_march_on_washington_martin_luther_king_ll_130819_16x9_992Today, we honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and his leadership in the Civil Rights Movement.

The picture above is from 1963, where King delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech in Washington, D.C.

As many as 250,000 people heard the speech delivered from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.  King was Time magazine’s Man of the Year following the speech and a year later became the youngest person ever awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Hope everyone takes a moment to reflect with gratitude.
